All projects of the Latin American Design Foundation are build by the people of LADF   We can't help loving this Argentinean design piece from Pablo Matteoda that won the 3rd prize in a competition organized by Designboom. It has latin american humor and craft skills put into an everyday object.

Otro Diseno: one of the LADF goals - promoting Latin American Design in Europe, is served by creating a physical presence. LADF has partnered in creating a design store and event center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands where Latin American Design can reach the audience. Read more...

 
hOLAnDA-2005:the Latin American Design Biennale was in Amsterdam in December 2005. This very succesfull exhibition promoted design and gave over 4000 visitors a great time. The Latin American Design dinner was the ultimate moment of this high quality overview. With videos: here...

April 2005: The Argentinean gallery Puro Diseno organizes the Feria Puro Diseno in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Latin American Design Foundation is their partner. LADF will be present, giving a workshop and representing the work we do for Latin American Designers. More...

  25-27 February 2005, the Feria de Maiz Criollo was in Patzcuaro, Mexico. LADF supports the preservation of knowledge of craft techniques and the availability of authentic materials that designers can work with. Read more here...

  28 September - 3 October 2004; tHuisFront 2004! The hottest Dutch interior design event in Amsterdam. LADF showed a selection of Latin American Design in its natural location: a complete decorated appartment in the city's newest project: 't Funen. more(updated II: pics)
april 2004; Franja was an Easter designers market in Eindhoven, during the design week. LADF filled the market's main stage with Latin American Design, representing more than 30 designers in this event.
From October 10 - November 8, 4000 m2 in the Villa Arena, Amsterdam was filled with Latin American Design: hOLAnDA2003 Over 100 exciting design products, send in by more than 100 Latin American designers. Read and look more....
  October 2003; The Latin American Design Foundation formed an alliance with Cafe de Origen to build a platform for sustainable products. LADF developed a brand image for the coffee company with a group of Latin American and Dutch designers.
